Show Your Worth (SYW) will provide youth from local theatre programs with the tools and resources necessary to perform in different positions of a theatrical production. Whether through the purchase of our online/paperback guides or through the hire of our trained staff, we are dedicated to helping bring your creative vision to life on the stage.
To assist youth-centered theatre programs in the Baltimore area by expanding their skillset and establishing more technical theatre positions to create quality productions.
Inclusion
At SYW, we are accepting and inclusive of all peoples and cultures. SYW will not be affiliated with productions, companies, individuals, or locations, that exhibit conflicting values to SYW. We will not concern ourselves with projects or individuals of an ablest, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, or classist construct and/or mindset.
Creativity
SYW will foster the mind and work tirelessly toward finding worthwhile solutions that will bring every production's vision perfectly to the stage. We will spend the extra time to curate mindful solutions that are sustainable and cost-effective, while also teaching members of their organization how to apply those skills without our help. SYW will encourage an optimistic outlook on every production process and demonstrate the benefits of looking forward in the midst of struggle, conflict, or directorial roadblocks.
Accountability
We recognize and encourage mistakes. At SYW, we encourage those affiliated with us to keep us accountable to our standards and to help us recognize our shortcomings. In a similar manner, SYW will not be complicit when confronted with any misalignment from our values. We pledge to keep those who partner with us accountable for their actions and to stop our involvement with them if such behaviors persist beyond the point of being addressed.
